About
I am Namisha Chamaria, a psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapist, based in Mumbai, India. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist both online and briefly offline since August 2022. Through the course of my education and training from my master's program, I have been extensively equipped to work with a broad range of concerns that involve psychological, emotional or other distressing issues that directly or indirectly impact one's mental health.
I have been trained to sensitively engage with mental-health issues to help one prevent, support, restructure and transform in different areas of one's life which can include self, relationships, family, career, education, work, socio-cultural, trauma or other related issues.
I conduct therapy sessions primarily in English, and I am also fluent in Hindi. I am able to understand Gujarati and Marathi conversationally, though my proficiency in these languages is limited for in-depth therapeutic work.
